BOMA NY and Fordham University partner for career program

New York, NY The Building Owners & Managers Association (BOMA) of New York has created a new partnership with Fordham University’s Gabelli School of Business. The partnership will help place Fordham students and graduates interested in pursuing careers in real estate or property management with related internships and full-time opportunities within the BOMA NY network.

BOMA NYmembers can receive hand-selected résumés of Fordham students or recent graduates - based on interest and experience - for their companies and properties. The program will be fully coordinated by the Gabelli School of Business. Their career development staff regularly help employers source interns and full-time employees from the school’s pool of graduating seniors, and undergraduate and graduate business students.

“By partnering with Fordham University, we want to tap into the Gabelli School of Business’ student network to provide our members with exceptional candidates for employment and internship opportunities,” said BOMA New York president James Kleeman. “We also want to provide newer professionals and those interested in property management with well-rounded internship experiences to support our industry’s longevity and growth.”

BOMA New York hopes to expand this program in the future to include more colleges and universities within the Greater New York area.
