How do you contribute to your community or profession?

I enjoy sharing my professional knowledge and experience through mentorship and program engagements with industry organizations, such as helping minority- and woman-owned businesses with the Professional Women in Construction organization and as a mentor with Women’s Transportation Seminar. Serving as a panelist for “Meet the Primes,” a virtual program hosted by WTS as part of their Small Business Resources Series, and being profiled in Construction Dive’s “Up-and-Coming Leaders” in the construction industry sets a positive example for other professionals. The mentorship I experienced entering the engineering profession has helped me grow into my current leadership position as a board member and Engineering Group co-director at AKRF, and I enjoy helping professional women and their colleagues navigate their own career paths in the industry.
