What do you like best about being a woman in the AEC industry? The possibilities! The industry offers so many opportunities for women and I’m thrilled to be able to provide resources and raise awareness. At PWC, we support and connect women, and promote diversity within the typically male-dominated fields through informative programming, leadership and networking events, scholarships, and mentorship programs.

What is one of the most exciting developments or innovations impacting the AEC industry right now? Setting industry-wide goals to protect the environment has become a priority. At two recent panel discussion events hosted by PWC NY, we’ve explored the topic of decarbonization, including the prevailing trends, strategies for retrofitting existing buildings, compliance considerations, design implications, and communicating with clients.
