What accomplishment, milestone, project or transaction stood out for you or your firm in 2025?
Cooper Robertson served as executive architect for the new Studio Museum in Harlem, a cultural landmark that celebrates Harlem’s artistic heritage while fostering deeper community connection through its unique programming and design. Designed to honor Harlem’s rich artistic and cultural environment, the seven-story building draws inspiration from the neighborhood’s soaring church sanctuaries, brownstone stoops, and bustling streets. We also led the Princeton University Art Museum, a landmark project balancing bold, modern design with the campus’ historic Gothic architecture.
What emerging trends or shifts will shape opportunities for you, your firm, or market sector in 2026?
In November, Cooper Robertson joined architecture and design firm Corgan, which has proven to be a powerful alignment of values and vision. Given Corgan’s depth of creative services, research capabilities, and multidisciplinary expertise, we are optimistic about expanding our urban, cultural, and campus design expertise. We are excited about Corgan’s design of JFK Airport’s Terminal 6, which promises to be an unrivaled global gateway. In terms of AI, Corgan is the nation’s No. 1 data center architect and given the rapidly growing demand for data centers, the firm is well positioned to grow.
