What skill or quality do you believe is essential for success in your field today?

I believe that vision and determination are essential for success today. It starts with understanding the purpose and goals for a given project. Becoming tenacious in achieving the big picture, while implementing the fine details, lays the foundation for executing a project at a high level. Understand your skill set and how you can best serve the project, either directly or by connecting and motivating others to join forces and work towards common goals. Lastly, have an unrelenting drive to serve the client to the best of your ability, while motivating the team to do the same.

What advice would you give to a woman considering a career in commercial real estate?

I would say go for it! It is a career that requires and rewards hard work, determination, and a commitment to providing the best service and experience that you can deliver. If you are thinking about this career, please remember to be your authentic self. Don’t stray from who you are to fit in with others. Trust your voice and keep learning! The industry is ever evolving, so stay curious and open-minded, and you will go far. You will have the opportunity to meet and work with some great women who will support you along the way!
