What is your top advice for someone just starting out in your field? Seek out a strong mentor, observe their habits, and ask why they do things a certain way. A good mentor can boost your career by sharing hard-earned insights from experience. Their guidance goes beyond textbooks, helping you understand industry nuances, improve judgment, and make informed decisions. Learning from their successes — and mistakes — can speed up your growth and help you avoid common pitfalls. Their perspective can challenge your assumptions, broaden your thinking, and inspire you to aim higher.

Who has been pivotal in your professional development, and how have they influenced you? Many people have played key roles in my professional development, but most recently, Donna Falzarano and John Taylor have had a strong impact. They both emphasized the importance of paying attention to the small details — those little things that can make or break a deal or relationship. Just as importantly, they taught me to keep a good sense of humor. In real estate, the ups and downs can be intense, and it’s easy to get overwhelmed. Their guidance has helped me stay focused, resilient, and balanced, even when things don’t go as planned.

What recent professional milestone or project are you most proud of, and why? In 2024, I was honored as a NJBIZ 40 Under 40 Rising Star. I’m most proud of this achievement because it shows that my hard work is paying off and being recognized.

What’s one challenge you’ve overcome in your career so far, and what did it teach you? In my short career, I’ve already worked through two downturns with COVID and the rapid rise in interest rates that took place over the last couple of years. From these downturns, I’ve learned that you can’t let the highs get too high or the lows get too low. Real estate is a cyclical industry, so the only constant is that things are always changing.
