What was your greatest professional accomplishment or most notable project, deal, or transaction in 2023? A notable victory concerned procuring summary judgment (valued at a few hundred thousand dollars, and also attorneys’ fees/costs and interest) on an unpaid designer client’s behalf. This dispute concerned a prominent real estate developer’s failure to respond to our client’s repeated payment requests regarding this high-profile, New York City project.
How has your career path changed in 2023? I was promoted to partner at Zetlin & De Chiara LLP, a position that will go into effect in 2024. As a partner, I look forward to engaging more directly with clients, and helping them navigate the complicated issues and disputes) that the construction industry often requires.
