Lelina Chang
President & CEO
Gamco Corp.

What recent project, transaction, or accomplishment are you most proud of? Gamco recently fabricated over 12,000 s/f of aluminum fenestration products for Richmond University Medical Center’s multi-level expansion, housing the hospital’s emergency department. I’m proud to have our team support this 35,000 s/f expansion in Staten Island, supplying facades balancing thermal performance, strength, and sustainability. We continue to help build local health facilities and communities in the tri-state area just like we had at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic for Montefiore New Rochelle Hospital.

Who inspires you most? What qualities do they possess that inspire you? Jacinda Ardern for her authentic leadership during a time of crisis and her ability to demonstrate that compassion and inclusion are strengths in leadership, not weaknesses.

What are the most important factors women in your industry should consider when choosing a firm to build their career with? Find an environment where challenging the status quo and courageously implementing new ideas is encouraged. A culture of coaching and providing opportunities for growth are great indicators.
