2023 Women in CRE: Laura Rapaport, North Bridge

Laura Rapaport
President + Founder
North Bridge

What recent project, transaction, or accomplishment are you most proud of? I am most proud of the team we have built at North Bridge. We have completed the largest CPACE deal to date in Florida and we have built a strong, growing team coming from all aspects of the institutional world. North Bridge is leading the industry in CPACE and we are working hard to educate the industry as to how it can be used to support sustainability and to provide liquidity for any project.

What are the most important factors women in your industry should consider when choosing a firm to build their career with? The most important factor is finding good mentors (both men and women) who want to promote women and create opportunities for others and build a strong team of diverse professionals around them.

Who inspires you most? What qualities do they possess that inspire you? I am inspired by those who see opportunities when others don’t as well as energy and drive to succeed. People who work hard and inspire others and people who take pride in their accomplishments in any industry.

Why should this nominee be recognized in our Women in Commercial Real Estate Spotlight? “Laura Rapaport and her team at North Bridge have set out to educate the industry on CPACE -what it is and how it can be used in today’s tumultuous capital markets environment to provide liquidity for any building or project focused on sustainability and efficiency. She and her team are helping to make buildings throughout the United States more efficient and sustainable while at the same time offering a solution that complies with new sustainability mandates and to provide liquidity in a time of limited financing alternatives.” - Blake Meyer, Director of Human Resources at The Berman Group.
