In the past year, what project or accomplishment are you most proud of? In the last year I am most proud of successfully writing, publishing, and presenting a technical article at the national ASHRAE conference. The process was long, and sometimes intensive, but I’m so proud of myself and my co-authors for putting together a great piece. I love sharing my knowledge with others and this showed me a means to do so with a larger audience. I’m hopeful I’m able to do it again in the future.

What was a pivotal point in your career?
A pivotal point in my career was when my mentor left the firm and I had to learn to operate more independently. It was initially intimidating to rely primarily on myself, but I believe this moment pushed me to become a much stronger individual. It motivated me to take more of a leadership role in my group and showed me how successful I can be in my role.
