In the past year, what project or accomplishment are you most proud of? Lennar Homes corporate headquarters, Miami Florida. The Lennar project was a total transformation of 156,000 s/f of a 212,619 s/f building, once the world headquarters for the Burger King corporation. The project team took advantage of 24,847 s/f floorplates to design a modern and collaborative working environment integrated with technology rich features such as IT infrastructure diversity and redundancy, audiovisual technologies to support in-person/remote collaboration, network operation centers with cutting edge LED video walls and biometric security integration. This allowed Lennar to relocate several lines of business within the same building yet allow for distinctive spaces that reflects the innovation and culture of the Lennar brand. 

What is your favorite building in New York? 120 Broadway is a 555 foot tall 1.2 million s/f building designed in the neoclassical style and completed in 1915. Upon opening it was the world’s largest office building by floor area. Working on the restoration project with Silverstein Properties allowed me a behind the scenes perspective of the rich history of this landmark skyscraper including the reimaging of the iconic Banker’s Club. 120 Broadway Equitable Building earned the BOMA TOBY Historical Building Award in the repositioning project from tenant amenities to the Banker’s Club on the top floor to its original grandeur, while integrating discreet leading technologies.
